We all want a calm dog at home. What is your current approach to managing their energy and behavior? I focus heavily on mental stimulation, knowing that if they are destructive, it's usually because their brain isn't tired enough. I try to physically exhaust them or leave the TV on, but deep down I worry they will destroy the house, howl desperately, or injure themselves out of sheer terror while I'm gone. Leave a radio or TV turned on in the living room so they don't feel entirely alone.

Every dog holds a hidden "superpower" in their nose. How do you handle their intense sniffing during your daily walks? I let them explore safely; if I don't let them sniff enough, they return home with too much bottled-up mental energy and start looking for trouble. Walks are stressful because they are constantly on edge, and if they don't get enough environmental decompression, their general anxiety and fear of being abandoned only worsen. It is virtually identical to human senses; they simply have a much longer nose.
